Repair Services
Agr designs and builds its equipment to meet the harsh requirements of continuous production environments. However, as with any mechanical product, there are some components that may wear and require service or repair. Repairs are offered at our Butler, PA, USA, Leese, Germany and Montecchio, Italy sites and include complete electronic and mechanical repair for all of the equipment that we manufacture. An estimated repair cost can be provided before proceeding with the repair. All repairs are covered by a 6-month warranty.
In addition to typical equipment repairs, the Repairs group provides several special services including:
Expedited Repair Services - The Repairs group offers an expedited service when turn-around time is critical.
Container Evaluations for Curved Thickness Sensing Strips - A curved sensing strip is used on our family of thickness measurement products when measuring thickness in a curved area of a container. The Repairs group will evaluate your sample containers and determine the correct sensing head shape for your application.
Equipment Refurbishment Service - The Repairs group provides refurbishment service on older Agr laboratory and on-line equipment. When a product is sent to Agr for refurbishment, all components are cleaned and inspected, all mechanical components that are worn are replaced, and all electric components that no longer function are updated. Completed units are fully tested for proper operation and/or calibration. This service is a cost-effective way to bring your machine back to peak performance.
Calibration and Certification - Inspection data is only reliable if the equipment has been correctly calibrated. Good calibration practice requires that your calibration standards or instruments be verified periodically. The Repairs group provides calibration and certification for these Agr products:
